Is it true!?

Friday, April 29th, 2005

I am so happy today is Friday. All week I have been looking forward to this day. Not that there is anything going on this weekend. I’m just happy that the week is over. See I hate working. Getting up to go and hang out with a bunch of people in an office is not my ideal of a good time. If I had a million dollars or enough money to matter I would do nothing. Ahhhh, what a dream.

I love Kidd Coffee. I don’t know if I have told you this before but I do. Kidd Coffee is a small coffee seller in the Mason, Ohio area and boy do the beat the hell out of Starbucks. First they are cheaper priced than ‘bigbucks’ and there coffees taste much better. I just wish they had one in the shit hole city I live in. The owner works in the shop I go to and I mentioned to him that he should open one on my side of town. He asked me if there were any good locations. Of course all the good locations are taken unless you want your shop neighbors to be a crack house.

Well I have been playing around with the shell replacement Litestep again. I finally found a theme I like for it. Its so simple and small. All it has is a task bar and system tray. There is no system meters or calenders. None of that stuff that crowds up your desktop. If you haven’t given a replacement shell for you Windows computer a try I suggest going out and getting one. You will be so surprised by how flexible you can make your Windows computer.

Pastries

Last night the Lady and I went to the bakers place to pick out our cake for the wedding. This was fun. She let us taste all of the flavors that she had already made up and available. She told us that anything we wanted we could have, the sky is the limit. If we wanted peanut butter and jelly for a flavor of cakes that we would get it. We chose to go with a 4 layer cake. The bottom layer will be strawberry and white chocolate. The second layer will be pineapple with pina colata cream. And the third and fourth layer will be chocolate truffle. The cake will be garnished in fresh strawberries and blueberries with fresh stings of mint going around the bottom of it. Since this is a summer wedding we wanted something that would be summer like. Plus we really didn’t want to have just the boring white and chocolate cakes that most seem to get.

On another topic, is this week going fast or what? Just yesterday I was thinking man, this day flew by. Now its hump day and its already pushing its way to five. Lets hope the rest of the week goes this quickly. I’ve added a new page to this blog site. Cd Chat is the link above, and inside I’m going to post the newest albums I have purchased either from a retail store or from Apple iTunes. After listening to them for some days ill post my review and opinion on each album and open the comments up for anyone that wants to comment about which ever album. I hope everyone will have some input on it. I know my taste in music can be one sided at times but I do listen to a wide range of music. Which, surprisingly enough, does not include country music.

My List

Monday, April 25th, 2005

So I was watching some Friends(third season) over the weekend. One of the episodes that was on was Frank, Jr. the one were Ross makes a list of 5 women celebrities he’d want to have “relations” with. Well this got me started thinking of my 5 women celebrities. So here is mine.

1. Christina Aguilera – Oh my god i would sell my left pinky toe for a chance!(not really)

2. Tara Reid – She is a party girl and would probably be open to alot.

3. Alyssa Milano – Have you seen those sweater pals she has going on!

4. Elisha Cuthbert – ever since the movie The Girl Next Door

5. Shannon Elizabeth – She has the girl next door thing going on.

So there it is. My top five. Do you have a top five? If so what is it?

Angels Bowling

This morning I was awoken by the sound of thunder and the flash of lightning. I love to sleep during storms. There is something about it that just knocks me out. When I was younger I hated them but that could be that I was young. Or even maybe because I had a pull down blind in my room that refused to stay down when you put it there. imagine, laying in bed all cozy, waiting for the gentile hands of sleep to take you off to dream land. When suddenly there is a snap and a sound of flapping with a flash of light. Being 6, it scarred the living hell out of me. I would run out of the room thinking I was already caught by the creature that was trying to get me. It was true horror. Later in my life i learned that it was just a faulty blind. Surpisingly so, when we would change it out for a new one with a better locking mechanisim it would still continue. God I love storms.

Happy Holidays

Wednesday, April 20th, 2005

There are some holidays that span the globe. Christmas, Haloween, New Years Day. But there is one that has not yet made its rounds. This holiday I speak of is the day for celebration. The day to kick back with your cool Coors 64oz and say yep! i’m a slacker, and damn proud of it!

This day is April 20th. Now some will say that this is a ficticious holiday. But I would argue that it’s only fake if no one other than you celebrate it. But in fact, I know a lot of people that celebrate April 20th. Some of these people live in another country other than the USA. While others live right here in the same dump of a city I live in.

So as you sit back and elevate your mind to a place in the cosmos. Please remember to be safe and never, never, NEVER celebrate with out a good supply of munchies.

Before I go, a friend of mine, Rhonda over at Rhonda’s World send me this link to this article about the great number 420.
