As the days turn to months and the months keep coming, were running out of time. I knocked up my wife roughly 5 months ago. So we only have 4 to go. As time goes on we are running out of it to find a place to put the new kid. The house we live in, is small by any means you want to measure it by. It only has 2 bedrooms 1 bath a full unfinished basement and a dormer attic. Can you see our problem? We have not enough rooms for the amount of people living in the house.

We could put the new baby in with The Boy. But how much fun would that be? The Boy would go nuts when the new baby wakes up at night. And on top of that it would just suck all the same if The Boy wakes up with his normal nightly screams and wakes the baby.

So we have come to a plan. First, get rid of The Boy. Just kidding were not getting rid of The Boy. He is so cool and I would miss him more than my left foot. What we really are planning is to turn the dormer attic into a bedroom for the two of us.

The people that owned the house before us, started to Finnish it up there. So, it is almost done really. It just need the walls finished and some dry wall put up. The floors could use some redoing and a new window.

The real plan is to sell the place and buy a bigger house. But trying to sell a house in the ghetto is like trying to sell a car to a bum. Or trying to convince someone that sure they can walk down the street with the crack dealers on every corner. It just wont happen fast and for the price we want for the house.

So for now we are going to convert the attic, put in new windows, new siding and a new roof. Then, maybe we will sell it for what we want. But in reality, we will get just above what I paid for it. Ya gotta love home owning!

If there was one band that I had to choose on which albums to take with me on a very long trip. It would be Linkin Park. Do these guys not rock still. I was listening to them on my drive back from lunch and was surprised by just how much they still seem to rock.

I didn’t have my pod with me, so I had dig out some old pre iPod cd’s I have in the car. The album I was playing was Hybrid Theory. I would have to say this is one of my favorite albums as far as rock goes. It never wains and always leaves you feeling as if you just rocked out to the best damn jam in the world. Looks like i may have to add this to the iPod. Along with Meteora it will be played a whole bunch.

Damn cotton heads. I swear I will rue the day when it come down to me be the elderly driver. But I think if you can’t keep up with the posted speed sign you shouldn’t be driving.

On my way back today I was trapped behind an old lady that for some reason had to drive 15 MPH. GAAAA it was driving me nuts. She would pull up to a stop sign, stop, and hold there for about 1 minute. Then she would start driving again. But not fast, still at her whopping 15 MPH.

When she finally turned. I was about to step on the gas, ram into her, and push her the rest of the way to my office. And when she did turn. She moved into the other lane -this was a two lane road- and cut the turn into on coming traffic.

She should not be driving. This person is a danger to others and herself. Not only that, she kept me from returning from lunch just a little late. Instead, I returned a lot late.

Times like these make me wish I had James Bond’s car with rockets in the headlights.

Well, if your a regular visitor then you will almost immediately realize I have changed the look of cucucachoo.net. I grew tired of the old look and really wanted something new. So instead of redoing the old MovableType install I had. Which, I did all ass backwards, so it was not really a good standard install of it. I went with WordPress this time. Not only do I like it better. I am able to do more with it.

One of the newest things you can find here is the picture gallery. I know, Fickr has a free gallery that everyone is using. Well I don’t like to use what everyone uses, I’m a rebel like that. It’s not that I don’t like flikr. it seems to be a nice site and hosting option. It’s just if I have 67gb -and grows by 480Mb a week- of storage I should be able to host my own images. So I imbedded Gallery2 into the wordpress for that little add on.

The other upgrade I did was done to the moblog. Now, while I don’t care for the layout of the new moblog page I will continue to work on it. You as the visitor didn’t notice it. But there was a script running in the back ground that would check a certain email address for mail. If it found the mail it would parse out the image in the mail and make it an entry for MovableType. Well with WordPress, there is a plugin called Postie. this does just about the same thing except i can have it resize the image or rotate it.

For you Internet Explorer users out there. Yes this blog is too damn cool for IE. But never fear, i will continue to make it nicer to view in Internet Explorer. I just ran out of time and really got tired of trying to figure out why it would break apart in IE. So for the time being just bare with me. I do love you all. But really, you should use something like FireFox instead. Its just better browsing.

There are many things to be addicted to. Cigarettes, alcohol, crystal meth. I’m not addicted to any of these things. But I find my self itching when I leave my mighty mouse at home. It’s like I go into withdrawal when I find that lifting my index finger doesn’t do crap on the normal apple mouse. The 360 degrease ball, where did it go. Oh man how am I going to get thru the day.

Today I woke up in a hurry. I cant explain how much I hate to do this. To look at the clock and realize you slept in for an extra thirty minutes. Lets just say it gets my head going right away. What I think happened was as we were sleeping the underpants gnomes came in to steal my underpants. While they were working they thought it would be funny to set my alarm to the alarm 2 position, knowing that there isn’t an alarm set up for it yet. Damn gnomes I’ll get you someday.

So today is the last day for this blog. Tomorrow I will start the crap that I have been tinkering with since September of last year. I though hey why not switch next year when my 2 year anniversary is. Yeah I said it. It has been 2 years since I started this poor excuse of a blog. I think I’ve gotten better at being a blogger. At least i would like to think i did. I’m sure whoever reads this think i suck. Which would explain why this blog sucks. I have gotten lots of visitors, i think every day i pull in about 30 to 40 visitors, but none comment. But all the same I’m changing my blog. Come back tomorrow and see the crap I have pulled.

I feel bad for the Ford plant here in town. One of the plants that are going to be closed down is in Batavia, Ohio. They make transmissions for the trucks and vans I believe. The plant employees over seventeen hundred people. It’s going to close down in 2008. Normally I don’t comment on stuff of this matter. But when not a few days after that hammer falls. One of the big wigs in corporate announces that they are going to finally join the hybrid car race. Yeah i know they have a suv that is hybrid, but it sucks balls. I just have to say that if they are closing down the plants because they lost money last year. Maybe the Detroit Lions Ford Field was a not so good purchase. Oh and lets not forget ford employee pricing. Ya kinda had to see this one coming last year.
