Remember back in the day when you were a kid and halloween came around? You would be so geeked to get out and start walking door to door. You would be wearing your costume which unlike costumes of today, was made out of a colored hospital gowns that tied in the back and a mask that had a two nostril holes and a slit for a mouth. The slit no doubt was there for you to try to stick your tongue thru. By the time you would make it back home the mask would no doubt be either in the bag of treats or on the top of your head as if spider-man was looking towards the heavens. What ever happened to those?

Another thing I remember about this fateful night was being able to walk by my self thru my neighborhood. My parents would send me off at 6 and would welcome me home at 8. Now a-days you see parents walking with the kids thru the neighborhood stand on the street and watch the little ghost and goblins go to the door for the treats. I have been told this is because of bad people that want to snag up children and grind there bone into dust for their bread. I like to believe that it’s because parents of today are big pussies and are to scared to have their kid be independent. At the age of 10 little Johnny should be able to navigate thru his local hood and be able to make it home alright.

But regardless of the reasons you walk with your children I hope we all have a safe and happy haunted night!

I don’t have a myspace account. Nor do I want one. I think myspace is what is wrong with blogging today. Its riddled with preverts looking for children to molest and very loose women looking to be molested. No that i have a problem with the latter. But it really bugs me when I go there to search for a persons account I get an error stating:

Sorry! an unexpected error has occurred.

This error has been forwarded to MySpace’s technical group.

How can such an awesome site like myspace be so flaky as to have an error like this every damn time I do a search. I thought this portal to the interweb was supposed to be great, flawless, always perfect. If this is the case then why do I get this error every time I try to find classmates.

Oh well, moving on.

So I have tired of this layout that my blog has going on right now. I really want something fresh and new. So come my three year anniversary i will change it yet again. I began last night tinkering with my test blog looking for some inspiration.

Hopefully the next one will be awesome like the first one was.

I wear glasses and so does my wife. So when her sister announced that she was getting lasik surgery my wife was stoked about it. She got an appointment and last friday she had her eyes done. When she was getting prepped for surgery i watched the other folks get theirs done. I was so crazy to watch. It made my butt pucker and i swore i wouldn’t get it done.

Flash forward to this past wednesday. I broke down and went for my exam to see if i was a candidate for the surgery. Sure enough i was.

So yesterday i was zapped and now i have 20/20 vision. With out glasses. I couldn’t be happier.

The only draw back is having to put these drops in my eyes. When they drain out of my eyes through my tear ducts and into my throat they taste like ass. But the taste is so worth it to see.

Oh and sorry i haven’t posted in a long time, *insert excuse here*
