One small step

Friday, May 30th, 2008

It has started. I am on my way to becoming supreme ruler of the world. After displaying my power and strength to the people of Newtown, Ohio they have named a park after me. Behold my glory!

Now, the next step is to have a circle freeway named after me. Then on to a monument in Washington DC or as I will have it renamed, Robington DC.

Honored

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

Yesterday The Boy brought home a project from kindergarten. It’s a book that he drew and wrote. Now mind you this is a 6 year old in kindergarten, it’s not going to be a novel by any means. But it shows his creativity and ability to draw, write and spell. I think it was an awesome achievement.

One of the pages is a picture he drew of his family. Now being the step-father I always try to stay out of the way when it come to his father and all. But when I saw this picture, it made me realize just how much I am his dad.

Thats me with the red hair and the orange shirt. What I can’t get over is how he drew me so close to real life. I wear orange, I wear brown shorts, I have green eyes. But one thing I don’t have a is a Hitler mustache. I’ll let this one pass. Another think I think is funny about this picture is his Mommy. The Wife never wears Pink dresses. Hell she never wears dresses. So I guess were going to have to get a arts and crafts corner for him and his brothers. Young artists, they’re the best.

Install

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

On the road today. A couple of co-workers and I went to Ft. Wayne Indiana to install some equipment. The drive is three long hours. Three hours that I am stuck in a van with people that I would rather work next to than to drive with. Luckily we are not going to be staying the night. The plan is to go there, install the crap we sell, then come home. Coming home is the part I’m not to sure of. I could see us running into problems and ending up having to stay a night.

The vehicle we took on this trip was a Honda Odyssey. This is a pretty cool van. It has something I wish our van (Chrysler – Town and Country) had, windows that roll down on the sliding doors. This is a really kick ass ideal. I have always wondered why vans didn’t have this feature. I think more manufactures should add this feature. The only thing this is missing that our van has is the stow and go seats in the second row. If this van had those it would be an awesome ride.
