Happy Halloween!
Today is Halloween. This is my favorite holiday for many reasons. One being, people get to dress up and be someone or something else for one full day. Before, when I was a kid, I would have said that it was my favorite day because of the candy. Now that i'm an adult it brings out that kid that has been stuck inside me since 16. Although I haven't been dressing up totally since I was very young. I still try to dress up a little for this day.
Passing out candy for today is hell where I live. I live on a block looking over a cemetery. I only have 3 houses to my left and one on the right. Nobody bothers with walking down my block. Is it because of the grave yard? or maybe they are just do damn lazy to hit 5 houses that they pass them up. Last year I tried to pass out some candy and I only got 4 trick-or-treaters. So for halloween I get lots of candy. Some places make kids go out much more earlier than the 6 - 8pm that i'm used to and remember as a kid. I have a friend in upper Ohio, whos town is making there halloween trick-or-treat time between 2 - 4. Is that crazy or what? how spooky will Jr be dressed in his dracula outfit at a good ol' time of 2. I hope your little spooks have a good time tonight. Or today if you live in bazaaro world.

I am Winter

The First Day
Well today is my first day in the good old New Orleans. We landed in the Louis Armstrong International Airport at 9:52am. While flying I napped and watched a movie on my handy dandy PocketPC. After landing we got a cab to the hotel. The hotel, Embassy Suites, is located about 5 blocks away from bourbon St. After checking in we went to the convention center to see what has to be done and what we can do. unfortunately, we couldn't do anything today because the people that build the booth hasn't layed the carpet yet. So we spent most of the day putting some of our equipment together. We ended the day at a late 3:30pm.
Tonight we are going to go to dinner and maybe to The House of Blues. I am thinking i'm going to come back to the hotel and chill for the night. The hotel has complementary drinks between 5:30pm and 7:30pm. So I think I am going to be down there for that also. It has wi-fi but of course my room has a crappy reception to it. I have to either have to be in bed or in the atrium. How fun is this! Well I will be on when I can but I cant promise anything.
Tomorrow I have to be up and ready at 8:00am in the morning. Wish me luck!

Off on a jet plane
Going to New Orleans for the rest of the week and some of the weekend. I'm going for work, there is a trade show going on and ill be doing set up. I'll be leaving tomorrow in the AM and will be home on Sunday. If only it was February.

OK new playlist time. I have been listening to the other 6 in order here lately and I am still in need of another mix. The last song is Waltz #2 by Elliott Smith. This is one artist I am sorry for not getting into earlier. I highly suggest this singer. His style is very easy to listen to while driving or even sitting reading a book. I also would like to add that my friend Justin gave me a mixed Cd of some songs a long time ago and I never really listened to it till now. Now I wish I had.
